Redlines & Mark-ups

Redlines and Mark-ups; we can update your existing drawings (all disciplines) with changes or new information and we will always follow your standards and procedures.

Redlines = drawings with changes shown using a red pen.

Mark-ups = drawings with changes using any colour pen. The most common way to mark up a drawing in using the following colours to easily distinguish the change:

Red = Delete (anything marked in red is to be deleted)

Blue = Addition (everything in blue is to be added to the drawing)

Green = Comment (no content changes to the drawing only adjustments, e.g.; move object to new position)

Yellow = Correct (when checking a drawing a yellow highlighter is used to show what has been checked and is correct, anything not yellowed has not been checked and therefore may not be correct).

All changes are clouded and noted as being part of that revision.

This colour process is how ICV will check all drawings before they are returned to the client.

P&ID’s

Process/Piping and Instrument Drawings.

Do you have a few new P&ID’s to be drawn up or are you modifying an existing P&ID?

You want someone that will take the engineers notes and turn them into an AutoCAD drawing.  You want that drawing to be clean and clear, using standardized symbols, line weights and text sizes.  You want that drawing to have the same flow and character of all the other P&ID’s in your office and you want the drawing returned to you quickly with zero mistakes.  This is what we can do for you and of course all changes are clouded and noted as being part of that revision.

P&ID Clean Ups

So you have a P&ID that is full of lines that cross over, you can't tell your signals from your process pipes and you need to add more detail to the drawing?

You need your P&ID’s cleaned up.

Let ICV fix this issue for you. Without changing your process we’ll de-clutter your P&ID so that it’s easier to understand and easier to follow. We’ll standardise your symbols and we’ll even (typically) make space on your P&ID so you can add more detail. All changes are clouded and noted as being part of that revision.

Paper to CAD Tranfers

Send ICV your drawings and we’ll take good care of them before we send them back to you complete with a CD of the electronic drawings on the latest version of AutoCAD.

2D drawings to 3D models

Want to see your vision in 3D before your builders lay foundations? With our combination of skills in AutoCAD 3D and Sketchup we'll lift your 2D drawings right up off the page and walk you through your design as if you were really there.

3D model Walk-Throughs

Imagine you’re thinking of doing some changes to an existing premises or building something new but you’re a little nervous of the outcome? Are you nervous of dedicating a lot of money to a project that may or may not work?

If only you could better imagine yourself in your own project before its even started? If only you could walk around inside your idea and get a feel for actually being there. If only you could get an idea of space and colours? Now you can have 3D walk-throughs made of your project, there not just for presentations anymore. With a 3D model you can look up and down and you can walk around and you can take a birds-eye view of your project. We can even make a video of the walk-through so you can show your idea to clients/friends.
